How different is an M2 license from a Class C license as far as obtaining them is concerned?

I have already studied for a regular license but I want an M2 license for a moped. I know that I have to take a safety class to get that kind of license but do I have to take a written test and then training just like a Class C license? I'm not sure exactly what I have to do...

an M2 restricts you to small CCs (scooters , mopeds, ect.)


an M1 lets you operate any two wheeled motorcycle. the written test is the same, its the ride test that desides. do yourself a favor and take an MSF coarse, apon sucessful compleation of the course you'll receive a certificate take it to the DMV and you got your M1.

You shouldn't be treated that way!I totally know how you feel today i got an R on my test and my mum wasn't that mad.But if i tell my dad( it was math test and he teaches me math) he will be so angry and pull my ear and my hair.I know how you feel.You should talk to them and tell them to stop.It's not nice and i know how you feel.I'm here for you.If you ever need someone to talk to i'm here.=)

Reply:my parents are exactly like yours, i got 19/20 and they say: where did the other mark go'?? i get shouted at all the time and my mum says i'm a useless, selfish, stupid brat and i was depressed because of my family - my friends helped me out of it though. So my advice is just let it out to a close friend or if you don't want to, someone told me about this song called 'Perfect' by Simple Plan - just listen to the lyrics (search it on youtube.com) and when i heard it, the lyrics just decribed my life and i broke down crying - it was another way of letting all the stress out and that particular song helped me out soooooo much. So i'd reccomend just listening to it and i'm really sorry that your parents are like mine as well but i'm sure things will get better. Just hang in there.
