Im selling a car that was a caterorgy c but has been repaired and has passed a dvla vosa test and a m.o t.test

do i have to declare this to them that it was a caterorgy c also if they come and view it and leave a deposit then hpi it do i have to return the deposit to them

I buy damaged repairables all the time mate, its best to let the buyer know because it will be stamped on the log book when they get it good luck hope this helps
Reply:You should tell them, an hpi check will reveal it anyway and you don't want to appear to be hiding something.





Regarding the deposit, it all depends on what you agree with them. If you're willing to hold the deposit to be returned if they're not happy with an hpi check, then so be it. There's just the chance, though, that you might be passing up another sale in the meantime. Whatever you agree to, get it in writing and both of you sign it.
