What are some brands that don't test on animals?
Be sure to check labels, they usually advertise it. Also, make sure to know the difference between "not tested on animals" or "no animal testing" and "final product not tested on animals". Some companies don't test their lotions and cosmetics on animals, but buy the ingredients from companies that do, so they say "final product not tested on animals". Other companies (I know the Body Shop for sure) don't test on animals and don't buy any ingredients that were tested on animals, so they are 100% cruelty free.

Also, if you care about animals make sure the line you're buying is vegetarian, not many cosmetics aren't but watch out for brushes. Be sure to buy synthetic brushes if you're looking out for the animals.
