Its rumored that North Korea is about to test fire an I.C.B.M. that could reach the US....?

Do you think we will be forced to go to war with them as a result of this test? Are they now a bigger threat than Iran?

Its rumored that North Korea is about to test fire an I.C.B.M. that could reach the US....?
"Now they are a bigger threat"??, they have always been a real threat, there was some progress with the Sunshine Policy of late 90's and early 2000's

Colin Powel said we would continue to negotiate with them....UNTIL Bush snuffed it and we stopped diplomacy and made South Korea look like fools.

Those people are starving....we could have negotiated with them for food and oil but The Bush Admin. really really droped the ball.

As for Iran there was so much possiblity to negotiate with them, but again the Bush adminstartions strategy or diplomacy is not to talk or negoitate.
Reply:they would be a big threat but a bigger threat that I feel would be if the two join forces.why do they keep testing when the USA has threaten them.Iran or No, Korea. will not comply to the U.N.secertey cancel. Then on the other hand why don't the UN believe that they say they are not threatening. They didn't believe when Iraq said they had no WM D's now look at the mess we are in.So far Iraq war has cost the U.S.A.a half a trillion dollars and estimate more then 3 trillion US dollars will be spent by the time it is over and we rebuild. Can this happen again In No Korea %26amp; iran

Can we take that chance that they do have a I.C.B.M. that powerful.I don't know but it scares the hell out of me. sorry not a very good answer.I beat around Bush %26amp; the bush.
Reply:North Korea has had nuclear weapons and looks to be developing long range missiles...

Their leader is just as crazy, IF NOT MORE SO, than the Iranian one, if you look into it...

Iran probably won't have nuclear capability for the next few years...

Which is a bigger threat... the guy that has the gun now and can shoot you now, or the one that is working on building the gun and doesn't have any bullets?

In typical Republican logic... apparently Iran is, since that's who they have been focusing on...hahaha... classic

DAR: they care about as much about the starving people in their country as Republicans care about the people on welfare in America... they don't care what they can "afford to do"... they can run up a debt too... it almost sounds Republican... overspending on military at the expense of everything else?
Reply:I don't think they are as crazy as Iran's President. They have a longstanding pact that if the world focuses on one of them the other one will do something to split attention. We need to deal with North Korea, however, it is starving and can't afford to destroy us.
Reply:This is a frightening time in our history.

It looks like we may need to speed up production and purchases from Metal Storm for the 40MM anti-ICBM technology.
Reply:That's pretty much the news that I heard reported yesterday. I cannot see the United States provoking a war with North Korea, the casualties would be enormous. I do believe that they pose a major threat to world security. A great deal of resources are spent annually for the military, which includes a massive army and expansive spy network.
