Reply:While India's batting line up is strong, bowling is a weak link and as such India may not be able to win the series against Australia. If they can manage to win one or two test matches, it will be a great achievement.

Reply:we all know how brittle is our famous batting line up. It can crumble under even wee bit of pressure. the series result will depend on couple of factors





1. Pitches should be conducive for batting


2. Our famous line up should click in all matches


3. And Australians should be a little out-of-form





Australians are a fired-up bunch esp after the racist remarks so expect an assault and the current indian team, hopefully, is tougher than the teams in the past to handle it

Reply:You would have to be kidding. What do people mean india's batting is stronger than the australians. Every time India comes out to Australia they say how easily they are going to win, and every time they come out they are hopeless.





I predict India will not win a test match against the aussies at all. What do you mean your batting is stronger? Your young players will not handle the pitches out here, and your old players always come out and show poor form. How can your batsmen seriously be better than the likes of Ponting, Hayden, Hussey etc.

Reply:I don't know if India will beat Aussies but I hope it does. It is high time that India won a test series in Australia. India came close in 2003/04 but the Aussies were left off the hook on the last day of the last test. I hope this does not happen again.

and the recent comments of michael clarke that australia are not "invincible" now shows that aussies too have doubts regarding themselves in their mind.


now there is no sharne warne ,macgrathor damein martin in the side and it will be intresting too see how aussies do without their big three.


india has to do lot in fielding and bowling departments and as for batting it is going well for now but they should not crumble in tight situations ,only than they could win.
