I had a d%26amp;c four weeks ago tomorrow due to miscarriage. I am getting a positive pregnancy test. I think I had a period 5 days after I stopped bleeding from the d%26amp;c (bled for 2wks), but may have just been more bleeding. Doc says to retest for pregnancy Thursday. Meanwhile, I have come down with a horrible sinus infection. It started as a cold but after a week, I believe I may need antibiotics. I am using plain Sudafed just incase I am pregnant but it's not doing much good anymore. Should I take an antibiotic or wait it out? I am afraid to interfere with a possible pregnancy even though it may just be hormones from being pregnant before. Could these sinus symptoms be infection from the d%26amp;c even though I do not have a vaginal infection? To treat or not to treat? Thank you and God bless.

Oh, sweetie I am sorry to hear about you losing a baby. That is never easy. I lost one in 2001 and I was 4 months along. It's the hardest thing I have been through emotionally. Hang in there okay?

No, I don't think the sinus infection can be caused due to a D%26amp; C at least I didnt get one so I doubt thats whta its from.
If you can hack it, just stick it out but one sudafed a day wont hurt nobody. I take one a day or every other day due to stuffy nose.
Reply:sounds like you very well could be pregnant again, i am sure tylenol cold is fine to take during pregnancy as that is what the dr told my daughter in law to take. i would make an appointment for a blood test and scan just to be sure. good luck
Reply:I've heard that you can still have a positive pregnancy test a while after a miscarriage. I'd have your doctor set up an ultrasound.
