You're going for the average here. This is how you set this one up.
Assuming a C is 70 and above:
(75+63+68+x)/4=70
(206+x)/4=70
206+x=280
x=74
Test scores, 75,63,68 what does he need for a (c )grade?
90-100=a 80-90=b 70-80-c 60-70-d 0-60=f

Reply:That all depends on what constitutes a C. In some schools, 70 is a C; in other schools, 76 is the lowest value in the C range.
Presuming 70 is a C, 4x70=280. The two lowest scores lack a total of 9 points for them to be at 70. The highest grade is 5 points over 70. 9-5=4.
The student would have to earn at least a 74 on the fourth assignment.
