i want a cat! my dad says oh no sweetie. we cant get a cat. im allergic. everybody knows hes not! we have a dog! im the best speller in my grade and theres a spelling me in 3 weeks. theyre making me spell. my mom wants me to write the 40 words 10 times each! she says im HORRIBLE at spelling! she pushed me against our granite island in our kitchen. my parents yell at me all the time. i go to bed every night crying. i always want a different family. even my sisters hate me. i dont do anything!!

You shouldn't be treated that way!I totally know how you feel today i got an R on my test and my mum wasn't that mad.But if i tell my dad( it was math test and he teaches me math) he will be so angry and pull my ear and my hair.I know how you feel.You should talk to them and tell them to stop.It's not nice and i know how you feel.I'm here for you.If you ever need someone to talk to i'm here.=)

Reply:my parents are exactly like yours, i got 19/20 and they say: where did the other mark go'?? i get shouted at all the time and my mum says i'm a useless, selfish, stupid brat and i was depressed because of my family - my friends helped me out of it though. So my advice is just let it out to a close friend or if you don't want to, someone told me about this song called 'Perfect' by Simple Plan - just listen to the lyrics (search it on youtube.com) and when i heard it, the lyrics just decribed my life and i broke down crying - it was another way of letting all the stress out and that particular song helped me out soooooo much. So i'd reccomend just listening to it and i'm really sorry that your parents are like mine as well but i'm sure things will get better. Just hang in there.
