To go from C/SrA to C/SSgt in Civil Air Patrol what written test do you have to take?

The test and achievement is called Wright Brothers and is the capstone achievement for completion of Phase 1 of the cadet program... The test is a written closed book comprehensive exam covering the first three Leadership Chapters you did earlier. There is no Aerospace test requirement... No Moral Leadership requirement...You must also pass the required Physical Fitness tests.

After you complete the requirements successfully, have your squadron commander, or deputy commander for cadets, fill out and submit a CAPF 52-1 by fax to NHQ/CAP. When the award posts on your E-services account, you will be awarded the Wright Brothers certificate (CAPC-29) by your squadron commander.

If you have further questions you may email me directly if you wish at the address below and i'll try to help you out.

Good luck and best wishes with your Cadet career!
