you get a period every 3 months so waiting a month doesnt work, and do you stop taking the pill and take the test?

Whenever you are on BC and think you may be pregnant it is always best to talk to you GYN. Yes you can take a HPT because the BC won't affect the test but with pills like you said where you skip periods it is harder to figure out when you might have gotten pregnant to actually take the test.
