Yes...

Does the D.C. Metro police have a polygraph test during the selection process?
yes
Reply:Most definetly - quite a majority of departments use the polygraph test - especially larger departments. As that is the nation's capital - you'd know that they would be using it too.
Reply:Well there were three answers that wasted your time...

D.C. Metropolitan Police Department does NOT use a polygraph during the hiring much less ANY process. If you are asking about the Metro Transit Police that protect the subway system in DC, MD, and VA, I'm not sure as they are a completely separate agency.

Most Federal uniformed jobs in the DC area do, but MPDC is city not federal.

You must pass a basic Math/English test...(and I do mean BASIC, whoa...)

Then a basic motor skills course test....rated at anyone over a couch potato..or even a motivated couch potato on a good day...

Then you have a background investigation followed by a medical exam and the standard battery of psychological tests (Would you rather plant flowers with your father or play football with your mother?)((4 1/2 hours of questions like that, lol) and an interview with a shrink.

No poly....
