anyone ever found out that early and the pregnancy still went through and you didnt have a miscarriage??
I found out i was pregnant, so they did a blood test to c how far i was only like 2 wks now they are saying ?
Yeah of course everyone has to be 5 weeks along at some point in their pregnancies.
Reply:I found I was pregnant and 4 weeks 3 days. (from the doctor that is) I felt like I knew from day 1. Today I am 13 Weeks \''/ and the pregancy has been perfect so far. The baby is growing well and I have an appointment next week to hopefully hear the heart beat. The only negative thing to finding out so early for me has been having to wait longer to share the news for fear of something going wrong.
Good Luck %26amp; Congrats
Reply:They aren't 100% positive how far along you are. It's based on measurements and is more of a close estimation.
It doesn't matter when you find out, that really has no relevance on the outcome. Also, pregnancies last about 40 weeks.
Reply:All they do is go from you last period half the time. I did not know I was pregnant until I was 2 months cause I had my period the first two months but it wasnt normal periods. When I went to see the doctor they told me my due date was May 19th then when I had my first ultrasound they asked who told me I was due May 19th because I was really due May 2nd. And my son was born May 6th. They did have to do a c-section because I was not progressing and he did not want to come out. But I know May 2nd was my right date because if I would have waited till May 19th or whenver he decided to come he would have been HUGE he already was 8 pounds 11 oz and I don't want to think what he would have been if I waited....lol good luck and congrats.
Reply:I found out I was pregnant at 2 weeks...I am now almost 16 weeks and everything has been just fine... Praise God!!
Reply:First is it possible they meant to say 5 weeks in the first place and mistakenly said 2 weeks.
But you can track by doing basal temperature monitoring.
The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG) is produced during pregnancy. It is made by cells that form the placenta, which nourishes the egg after it has been fertilized and becomes attached to the uterine wall.
A normal pregnancy may have low hCG levels and result in a perfectly healthy baby. The results from an ultrasound after 5 - 6 weeks gestation are much more accurate than using hCG numbers. The hCG levels should not be used to date a pregnancy since these numbers can vary so widely.
Ask for a ultrasound to get a definite answer about how far along you are.
Reply:Well generally, when you are given a blood test, it is to look for the presence of HGC, which is a hormone found in pregnant women. Now although a urine test can do this, urine tests can only detect if their is at least 20ml-100 ml of detectable hormone (depends on the brand of test you use too.) Blood test can find as little as 1ml at only 5-8 days into pregnancy. There is also a blood test called the rosette inhibition assay that tests for EPF (early prgnancy factor). This can be detected only 48 hours after fertiilization. However, most doctors don't generally give this test off the bat, as it is expensive (alot of women having difficulty trying to concieve and are having invitro get this test.) So to sum up, I don't think that just because you have had a test done and it detected an early prgnancy, that you are likely to have a miscarriage. Now I do know from personal experience that if they detect HCG and then the amount starts to decline over a few days, that you are likely to have a miscarriage, or you already have. So good luck.
Reply:Of course. I found out I was pregnant when I was around "4 weeks" pregnant with all three pregnancies. In other words, the DAY I missed my period. I have 3 beautiful babies. Every pregnancy starts somewhere. Whether you find out immediately or couple months into it.... that has nothing to do with whether or not you'll miscarry. Best of luck to you and the baby!
Reply:because 2 weeks is too early to tell...
Reply:I found out at five weeks and two days along... and I am 29 weeks right now and all has went well, other than the awful morning sickness...but that is just part of pregnancy for some women!
Reply:I think you should rephrase the question..it's a little confusing.
I found out when I was 3 weeks and now I'm 23. Healthy little girl everything is going great so far. the confusing thing for me is why would you think you had a miscarraige?? How old are you lol. Just curious because untill and unless you are bleeding healthy then normally everything is OK with baby
Please get educated a little more on pregnancy and your body seems like you need a little guidance.
GoodLuck and Godbless You!!
