Just did a preg test this morning and it was pos. had a m/c in Jan and am worried it might happen again?

I miscarried quite late at 11.5 weeks and i am only 4.5 weeks just now all i can think of is that it will happen again is this a normal way to feel or should i be over the moon. This was the first month after the m/c that we tried.

Of course it's normal for you to think it could happen again especially after what you have been through . My advice would be try to stay positive and inform your doctor of the pregnancy. 4 of my friends have had m/c's but gone on to have healthy pregnancies .I worried when carrying my child right up till I give birth but she is now 11 and hitting the teenage attitude stage. The very best of luck and be over the moon hunny . xx
Reply:Stay positive hun and I'm sure everything will be fine this time around. It is perfectly normal to worry about m/c - All of us pregnant women do. Good luck, take it easy and above all feel positive. xx
Reply:I have m/c 4 times and have 2 kids. I was a nervous wreck with each pregnancy. it settled down a bit once I could feel the baby moving but it is completely normal to be worried. Speak to your doctor and they will hopefully be able to arrange some extra scans for you to set your mind at ease.
Reply:1 in 4 pregancies end in miscarriage. It may never happen again to you..or the reverse it may always be the result for you.

Make an appointment with your doctor. between the exam and more information from the last attempt maybe some more conclusions can be reached.
Reply:ur compleatly normal hun, i had mc in july last yr and am 14 weeks preg now still not relaxing despite have scans
Reply:A close friend of mine suffered a miscarriage but also got pregnant the first month after, she's now 8 weeks gone and everything seems to be going fine for her so far. She was really worrying that it would happen to her again this time but has started to worry less now her morning sickness has kicked in as its kind of reassured her that everything will be ok this time round and that things are progressing normally. Although not everyone gets it, some are lucky!

She says she kind of had a feeling that something wasn't right tho even before she started to miscarry, was you the same?

1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and I think every woman worries about it untill they are past that 12 wk mark.

I'm sure you will be fine this time round but you should speak to your doctor about it he maybe able to put your mind at rest.

The main thing is not to worry yourself to much as what will be will be.

I wish you the best of luck and hope it all works out for you.
Reply:You will be worried hun, its perfectly normal to do so after the last one. Try not to dwell too much on it because the stress cant be any good for you. Apparently the chances of you having another miscarriage after you have had one are not that high, because apparently it is very common for a woman to miscarry her first child.Another thing to look into is that alot of women miscarry and dont even know they have. many years ago b4 pregnancy tests were easy to get hold of, woman miscarried but classed them as late periods. Please try not to worry, remember that now your womb has had a trial run it will probably be okay. Good luck to you, hope all is well.. xxx
