doctors tell you it is with blood but, if you live with someone who has hep c and tests himself for sugar levels all the time, or if he uses the toilet or utensils,..... can anyone get infected from that? how can you clean after that person so you can live " normaly"? anyone?
Noone tells us about how exactly can you get infected with hep c?
Hepatitis C is spread by blood and other body fluids. If you come into contact with that person's body fluids you could be exposed. It's less likely with less intimate contact, but still possible. I found a link at WebMD that tells you some ways to protect yourself.
Reply:the most common method of catching hep C is by sharing a dirty needle.
Assuming you aren't sharing dirty needles, i would only worry about blood contact - and making sure that if the other person had a bleeding sore, or cut themselves with a knife, that the blood was cleaned up fast, and that you took care if you had an open would.
